Olympic View Golf Club in Langford, Canada, has unveiled a new sustainability -driven master plan that was created in collaboration with the Lobb + Partners design agency.
During the 35 -year anniversary of the club, the plan introduces a phased program aimed at improving the course strategy, conditioning and environmental management. A central goal of the initiative is to achieve geo certification – the global benchmark for sustainable wave facilities – that emphasizes responsible water formation, the preservation of habitats, efficient maintenance and involvement of the community.

The most important elements of the redesign are wider fairways, extensive short grass areas and the addition of new naturalized zones. The repositioning of dangers will be responsible for modern tension distances while retaining interest and challenge between skill levels.
The first construction phase of the course starts in the autumn of 2025 with the reconstruction of the seventh Green, designed to add variety and fairness to PIN placements. The full transformation will take place for several seasons to minimize disruption and to guarantee success in the long term.

The project is also a supplement to the nearby Olympic View Living Development, where houses, wetlands and hiking trails are seamlessly integrated into the natural landscape. The golf course will serve as a central characteristic, which strengthens the shared vision of combining recreation, sustainability and residential life within the distinctive terrain of the area.
