An official EFL announcement has confirmed the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw.
The announcement (see below) on Tuesday with the details.
The draw for the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup will take place on Wednesday evening.
That draw will take place after the match between Newcastle and Spurs, which is scheduled to be the last of the fourth round.
The match between Newcastle and Spurs starts tomorrow evening at 8pm.
That match at St James’ Park is one of five Carabao Cup fourth round matches to be played on Wednesday, with the other three matches before that tonight.
If any of the fourth round matches are drawn after 90 minutes, 30 minutes of extra time will not be played, but a penalty shootout will be played immediately.

Official EFL Announcement – Carabao Cup Quarter Final Draw Confirmed – October 28, 2025:
‘The fourth round of the Carabao Cup starts tonight with eight matches on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 October.
The quarter-final draw will take place live at the end of Newcastle United’s fourth round match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sky Sports Main Event on Wednesday, October 29.
Sky Sports presenter Mark Chapman will host the draw at approximately 10.30pm, along with experts Jamie Redknapp and Jobi McAnuff.
The ball numbers for the draw will be finalized and published on EFL channels on Wednesday morning, October 29.
The fifth round will take place the week of December 15.’
