This morning the inaugural South Jersey Tournament of Champions, a new in season Fa-Cup Style Elimination Tournament, starts at Cherry Hill Catholic (NJ) with four games, as follows:
- Gloucester (NJ) City vs. West Deptford (NJ) 8 hours,
- Cherry Hill Camden Catholic (NJ) vs. Delsea (NJ) Regional, 9:45 am
- Delran (NJ) vs. Mullica Hill Clearview (NJ), 11.30 am
- Pittsgrove AP Schalick (NJ) vs. Audubon (NJ), 1:15 pm
Tomorrow, (yes, a few rare competitions on Sunday in New Jersey), there will be a four -fold spring shooter in Clearview, about 30 miles southwest Catholic. These games will take place as follows:
- Gloucester City-West Deptford Loser vs. Camden Catholic-Delsea Loser, 10 hours
- Delran-Clearview Loser vs. Schalick Audubon Loser, 11:45 am
- Gloucester City-West Deptford winner vs. Camden Catholic-Delsea Winner, 1:30 pm
- Delran-Clearview winner vs. Schalick Audubon winner, 3:15 pm
The final round takes place on October 8; We are pretty sure that there will be a Gold-Medal game, a bronze-medal game, a fifth place game and a seventh place, and I am sure that this will not be in the form of a quadruple wearer. But we will keep an eye on.
