We now have details of four more Newcastle United TV matches in the Premier League, following an update on Friday afternoon.
An official club announcement (see below) revealing the arrangements for Premier League matches in late December and early January.
Man U’s away match will be shown on Boxing Day with an 8pm kick-off and will be shown on Sky Sports, an easily accessible match by public transport…
That is the only Premier League match to be played on Boxing Day this year.
The Premier League matches against Burnley (away), Palace (home) and Leeds (home) will also be shown by Sky Sports.
In total, we now know across all competitions that 15 of Newcastle United’s next 16 matches will be shown live to a British audience. The only exception is Burnley at home, a 3pm kick-off on Saturday December 6.
Newcastle United official announcement – October 31, 2025:
‘Four more festive Newcastle United matches have been moved in the latest round of changes to Premier League fixtures.
Three December games had already been moved during the previous set of changes, and now the remainder of the Magpies’ Christmas and New Year period has been completed.
The trip to Manchester United has been brought forward from Saturday 27 December to Friday 26 December, with the Boxing Day kick-off confirmed at 8pm GMT.
Eddie Howe’s side will next travel to United head coach Burnley, the former club, on Tuesday December 30 at 7.30pm GMT, instead of 8pm GMT as initially advertised.
They kick off 2026 with a home match against Crystal Palace on Sunday, January 4, kicking off at 3pm GMT – a day later than first planned.
And they follow that up with the visit of Leeds United on Wednesday, January 7, which now starts at 8:15 PM GMT instead of 8:00 PM GMT.
All four matches will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Any further changes to the Magpies fixtures will be communicated as soon as possible.”
