Juventus is considering an ambitious raid to sign Noussair Mazraoui for Monday evening’s deadline – but Manchester United will only have one reaction for their Italian counterparts.
Value for money
In one long Line of Profestligate editions in Old Trafford in the past decade, the £ 17 million deal to secure Mazraoui from Bayern Munich last summer, is one of the best pieces of the Red Devils.
Mazraoui grew up in the famous Ajax Academy and is an excellent defender who combines abundance intelligence and technical skills.
He is able to play different positions and also makes him an ideal team player with the quality of a starter.
The International of Morocco is a rare united star that actually seems better suited for Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system, because it can effectively play on both sides as an external center-back or on the right wing.
Mazraoui held an injury on the side lines for the first three games of the new campaign, but he made a late return yesterday in the 3-2 victory over Burnley, who came up in the 85th minute to replace Leny Yoro when United Drong was delivered to a Winner-Die Bruno Fernandes.
Amorim would like to welcome the 27-year-old defender, whom he described as an “incredible player” and the “future” of the team after the Portuguese coach arrived in Old Trafford in November.
But this is why the latest development from Italy is such an unwanted for Amorim.
Interest of Turin
Italian newspaper La Gazzetta Dello Sport Juventus reveals a move for Mazraoui plant with sports director Damien Comolli who gives the Moroccan priority to other options.
The old lady manager Igor Tudor started the season with a 3-4-2-1 system-seized amorim used with United and wants to add a fullback that can work effectively in this setup.
The report states that Juventus will try to sign Mazraoui on loan as a potential repetitions for Nico Gonzalez, which is locked up in conversations about a move to Atletico Madrid.
But this is an offer that will be rejected quickly and decisively by the Red Devils, who have no intention of losing an important member of their team in the first team, especially without a considerable transfer costs for reimbursement.
