Notebook: Charlie Baker pushes families to support the score act

Ncaa -president Charlie Baker Sent a letter to each high school athlete last week that was registered with the NCAA fitness center and urged families to support the Score Act.

The score ACT, a bill guided by the Republicans in the house, tries to determine federal standards for zero, regulating agents, to prevent trade fairs from being withdrawn because of injury or performance and requires universities to offer academic support and health care for former athletes. The bill would also require schools to maintain a minimum number of Varsity teams – a security that is designed to protect the sports sports.

Baker told families to partially support the bill, because it also includes “common sense-to-coming rules-such as limits for how many years a student athlete can compete.”

As I reported last week, several lawsuits are already challenging for the eligible caps of NCAA. In his letter Baker warned: “If this new trend is allowed, the current university athletes may remain on gratings for an indefinite period of time, so that the number of stock markets, schedules and competitive opportunities available for high school players who want to earn a place reduce a place.”

Analysis: Baker is here a bit sensational but he is not completely off-base. Nobody is currently suing the NCAA for an indefinite period of time, but can that be the next step? It would not be shocking.
