During the southwestern monsoon, Chennai registered 429.3 mm of rainfall, compared to the normal 363.9 mm between 1 June and 15 September. In the same period, Tamil Nadu witnessed the Regional Mete Center (RMC), Chennaa, Chenna.
The slight increase in the rainfall of the city is considered normal, according to the experts. In the weather of the weather, rainfall between +19% and -19% is considered normal during a season. The neighboring district of Chengalpattu registered 278.3 mm, which is 16% lower than 333.2 mm. However, these figures are not final and will certainly change because the end of the season is September 30. In the meantime, the southwestern monsoon started its withdrawal from Rajasthan on Sunday.
