Could it go deeper in terms of a sellout, or do you think they’re committed to just keeping the (David) Pastrnak and (Charlie) McAvoy cores intact?
Marek: “I mean, I don’t see why you would do that. Listen to the only thing we know about reconstruction, and now ask someone in San Jose in Chicago what it feels like. They’re terrible, right?”
So I think that now more than ever, and especially with a team like the Boston Bruins, you look at your team and you say, okay, and I still don’t think, I think they’re close, but I still don’t think they’re there yet to start saying we need to sell more players, or let more players walk away.
It doesn’t look good. And the only thing I’m wondering about now is, you know, what if you get back into this race and try to make the playoffs, you know, what segment do you have to play now for the rest of the season? You know, we keep saying you can’t make the playoffs in October and November, but you can eliminate yourself. And the Boston Bruins would do well to get there.
