A rough force ahead with the Bruins earlier in his career, Lucic saw the fourth line minutes during his last full season in 2022-23 with the Calgary Flames. Since 2017-18 he has had no more than 23 points in a season.
Note from the Spector: Jeremy Rutherford of the athletics pointed out that Lucic Jockey will be for a selection with Mathieu Joseph (28 years old) and Alexandre Texier (25), who are considerably younger and faster. If he plays well enough, but is unable to earn a selection with the blues, he could draw the interest of another NHL team.
