Buccaneers Activate WRIS Chris Godwin van de Puplijst

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are planning to activate broad recipient Chris Godwin from the puppy list, but it is unlikely that he will play until October, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Godwin still recovers from a disrupted ankle that he suffered in week 7 last year. He is one of the most consistent Wideouts in the NFL since he was drawn up in 2017, and earned a general figure of 75.7 pff or higher in every season.

The advantage of activating Godwin van de Puplijst is that he can practice with the team in September. Earlier this week it was announced that on the second year Jalen McMillan would miss a considerable part of the season with a tense neck in last week’s prescription season against the Pittsburgh Steelers, so the wide reception depth of the team will be tested early in the year.
