The JJ McCarthy era in Minnesota has started.
The starting Quarterback of the Vikingen made his return to the field for one ride after a torn meniscus during a striking preview of debut last year. While he only went 4-of-7 for 30 meters and the Vikings led to a field goal, it was a measured show for the 2024 First-Rounder. The Texans in Houston chose to let their starters rest, with Davis Mills, Kedon Slovis and Graham Mertz on Quarterback.
Points were hard to find, just like star performance, in the 20-10 victory of the Vikings. But that is what the preseason tends to be. Both teams still received strong performance from young attacking rulers, including Joe Huber and Aireontae Ererery, and Rookie Linebackers, including Kobe King and Jackson Woodard.
The dedicated team of PFFF classes was hard at work and analyzed every player in every game in real time. The extensive figures and data are available after a thorough assessment tomorrow at noon.
In the meantime, we have collected some data at a high level and collected counts from the game to give you an early look. Our expert classes have also nominated the striking player of the game, with exceptional performance on the field.

Player of the game
The Texans converted their attacking line out of season this season through transactions and cutbacks, and Ed Ingram is a newcomer who wants to crack the line in a depth role.
He celebrated with his former team in this match and ended as the second highest attacking player of the game, awaiting assessments, perhaps some confidence that he can contribute to Snaps to Houston’s new look unit.
Ingram did not put pressure on 16 pass-blocking snaps and made two impact run blocks on just six run game Snaps.
On the other side of the ball, Vikings second-year edge defender Gabriel Murphy stood out with four Quarterback print, of which two were bags.
