Few things are more important to the success of an NFL team than the quality of their offensive line. Disastrous lines, or even special mismatches of weak links, can determine the outcome of games, while strong units provide an incredible advantage.
We’ll be monitoring the offensive play in the NFL all season long and highlighting each team’s biggest weak link players. With Week 7 of the 2025 NFL regular season in the books, here are the weekly rankings and the best player from each unit.

1. Indianapolis Colts (no change)

Indianapolis’ defensive unit was strong in the team’s Week 7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The line gave up seven pressures – including one sack – on 36 pass plays, registering a PFF pass-blocking efficiency rating of 88.9 (tied for ninth-best).
Although he made a bad kick that resulted in a fumble, center Tanor Bortolini was excellent in pass protection. The second-year player didn’t allow any pressure in the win.
Best player: Quenton Nelson
Nelson’s PFF grade of 88.2 is leading among all guards this season.
2. Denver Broncos (no change)
Expected starters of week 8:
Lieutenant Garett Bolles
LG Alex Palczewski
C Lucas Wattenberg
RG Quinn Meinerz
RT Mike McGlinchey
Denver’s line gave up 10 pressures, one of which was a sack, on 55 dropbacks against the Giants. The resulting 90.0 PFF pass blocking efficiency rating ranked sixth this week.
Right tackle Mike McGlinchey was a force to be reckoned with in the run game this week. The Our Lady product posted a PFF run-blocking grade of 93.2, which was second only to Penei Sewell in Week 7.
Best player: Garett Bolles
Bolles has only pressured on 2.3% of pass plays this season, which is tied for the best mark among left tackles.
