The Point search for Newcastle United has taken a big turn on Thursday evening, it seems.

With a movement for Brentford’s Yoane Wissa Staling and Wolves who apparently are not willing to sell Jorgen Strand Larsen, unless two new strikers arrive in Molineux, it is claimed that Newcastle has moved its rush -search search to Germany.

In a shock update by Craig Hope on Thursday evening, it is claimed that Newcastle is now insisting to sign Stuttgart star Nick Woltemade.

As revealed in his last exclusive for PostSources in Germany now indicate that Newcastle ‘closes a deal’ for the 6ft 6 ″ striker.

The 23-year-old is strongly connected this summer with a move to Bayern Munich and it was expected that he would sustain that movement.

With Harry Kane, however, their Star Man and Nicolas Jackson currently taking a loan-to-buy transfer to the Bundesliga Giants, the door may have been opened for Newcastle to sign the German international.

As Hope states, it would be a huge coup for the club if they landed the long but technically gifted striker, who was one of the star players at Euro U21 after scoring 17 goals in 33 Bundesliga matches last season.

Time will follow and updates will follow, but this would be an impressive step after the club had rejected £ 50 million and £ 55 million bids for Strand Larsen earlier this week.
