I found this girl’s YouTube channel a while ago, Rita Montezumaand watched several of her episodes, including one where she visited Stockholm. I find it so much fun to watch when someone is on holiday in Stockholm, to see the city through that person’s eyes. Especially if it is someone with good style and taste. Tip to watch her YouTube if you are traveling yourself and want inspiration from a specific city.
Nice to see which places, cafes, restaurants and vintage shops she has found here in Stockholm and also nice to get some new tips. I currently move in a very small bubble with ice cream, work and everything within a few blocks on Södermalm haha.
It’s likely that many of you reading here may already be following her, as she has over 400,000 followers on Instagram. I am very inspired by her style, and something I think I want to find a little more in 2026: that little bit more playfulness with fashion. During pregnancy and after giving birth I was completely absorbed in accessories and after that it became a kind of simplicity and vintage classics. Which of course I love, it’s my safety zone in fashion and something I always come back to. Jeans, blazer and a low heel. Or midi skirt, shirt and ballerina.
Back to Rita, with the Danish playfulness in her styling with color and silhouettes. She often wears stripes or polka dots, taking the casual cool combination to something more dressy. Also inspired by her choice of glasses, as I use my different glasses much more than lenses, because I spend 90% of my working day in front of a screen.
