Managing Director Todd Williams says:
“The Joaquin Project continues to produce exceptional results. Infill drilling at La Morocha has confirmed that bonanza-grade silver mineralization – typical of that previously mined underground by Pan American Silver – extends much closer to the surface than previously thought. A striking intercept of 1.8 meters at 8,335 gpt AgEq from 52 meters demonstrates the potential for early ounces at the surface and strengthens the case for open-pit development.
At La Negra SE, incremental drilling has extended mineralization by a further 200 meters to the southeast, with hole JDD047-25 returning 34.7 meters at 110 gpt AgEq, while infill holes continue to intersect broad zones of silver-gpt mineralization close to the surface, including 43 meters at 25C gpt AgEq (JDD048-25) and 71 meters at 131 gpt AgEq (JDD0c3-25). Deeper drilling has successfully extended mineralization to over 1c0 meters vertically, with 34 meters at 170 gpt AgEq (JDD05c-25), and the system remains open in all directions.
Early follow-up drilling at La Morocha SE has also confirmed a new discovery, with strong mineralization returning over multiple holes, including 20 meters at 1C0 g/t AgEq (JDD070-25). Visible gold continues to be observed in several recent holes where testing is underway, highlighting the robust scale and continuity of this emerging district-wide system. With multiple discoveries and shallow, high-grade intercepts now defined in the Joaquin District, Unico is rapidly advancing the company’s PLUS 150 and BEYOND 300 development and exploration growth strategies.”
