Saratoga Springs, NY-William “Buck” Butler and Winstar Farm’s Dual Graded Stakes-Winner Press my mane Much turned out to be the best at the wiring of $ 150,000 Johnstone, a seven-Furlong sprint for New York-bred mares and mares of 3 years old and older, on the Saratoga Race Course.

Trained by Mike Maker, the 4-year-old Butler HomeBred Daughter of Audible restored a last off-the-board Finish in the Grade 2 Chicago on June 21 in Churchill Downs and made its first start out of the Graded company since a trio of state-oriented effort wins as a juvenile and second-year student

Maker said he was satisfied to leave tactics in the capable hands of the normal rider Luis Saez of the Merrievefeulen after the scratches of potential pacesetters landed and Bernietakes -Charge.

“The pace in the race scratched and she put fairly close in some of her other races, but I just left it to Luis to see how it took place when they broke,” said Maker. “I thought it was a good performance and looked like our old man squeeze.

“She kept pretty heavy company,” he added. “They didn’t embarrass herself the last time. She didn’t handle the heat so well, so I hoped for a little rain.”

My Manen Squeeze was the best way to post 3 in the field of six and marked an opening quarter in 23.42 seconds on the fast foot with difficult mood and dolomite in a battle for the second.

Dolomite faded around the bend while my Manen Squeeze removed from the chasing difficult mood by the half miles in 46.12. The multiple Graded Stakes-Placed Millionaire Sterling Silver started her rally from the middle of the pack and went to third position at the head of the track, but my Manen Squeeze had already clearly kicked a lead of four length by three-quarters in 1: 09.96 and was never in doubt in the piece of 1/4 in a last time in question of the wire.

Tricky Temper held second at 3 1/2 lengths about Sterling Silver with Caldwell Luvs Gold, Cupid’s Heart and Dolomite who complete the order of finish. Majestic Return, Cara’s time, landed, Bernietakes Charge and Maggy’s Palace were scratched.

Dolomite was pulled up in the gallop and got a ride back in the horse ambulance after she was reported that she had Bled.

Saez, on board the two of my Mane Squeeze, said he had the break dictated what kind of journey he would harden.

“You know that when I saw the program, they scratched the speed … But we also have a lot of pace, so we just tried to break,” said Saez. “If we break the lead, we will take it, and if not, we will follow someone, but she broke out so well. She checked the pace and really, we were not worried about how she was in the lead.”

Maker said it is possible that my Manen Squeeze could come back to class 1, $ 500,000 ballerina on August 23 here, a “victory and you are in” for the grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint in November in Del Mar.

“Let’s endure this, but it’s possible,” said Maker. “I will talk to the connections and go from there.”

My Manen Squeeze, the reigning NYTB horse of the year, scored her two Graded victories in Churchill last year in the grade 2 Eight Belles and Grade 3 Dogwood. Her great 9-4-2-1 campaign also included a number 1 place when the third place in the test presented by Ticketmaster here. She would continue earning a top level with a game third in this year’s Madison in Keeneland to start her 4-year season in April.

The talented Dark Bay has brought $ 82,500 to victory, while improving her overall record to 17-7-2-5 and $ 4.30 returned to a $ 2 win betting.

Live racing will resume on Thursday on Saratoga with a 10-race card, with the $ 150,000 John Morrissey in Race 9. The first post is 1:10 pm Eastern.
