“My Information” – Craig Hope reveals a new message from Newcastle on Alexander Isak

The current Alexander Isak Saga has already talked about our preparations for the season and completely dominated the first two weeks of the 2025/26 season.

An almost spitsless team suffered on the field, without a victory in all our preseason, while a number of goals have chosen against participation in, with Ekitike, Sesko, Delap and Pedro who all participate in ‘Big Six’ rivals instead.

It has been a few months for Eddie Howe, the team and the fan base, and we can all agree that the sooner the window comes to an end, the better.

But despite all the noise, which will not stop until the window is closed on 1 September, it seems that the Newcastle owners send a strong early message about Isak’s future.

By post Craig HopeAlexander Isak is now expected to stay on Tyneside, which could mark the end of a more drama for this transfer window.

Liverpool could try their happiness again in the last week of the window, but it is believed that Pif was angry by the nature of Isak’s statement last week and only hardened their position in a potential sale after they can be enormously part of the whole summer.

Speaking at Sky Sports, Hope went more on the internal attitude of the club: “As the (club) statement said (on Tuesday evening), the terms and conditions of sale are not paid!”

“Newcastle is now not going to let Alexander Isak go shortly when he, as we are here, is the only recognized striker in the building.”

“My information is … and this was an attitude that really paved on Tuesday evening, the explanation and the language and the accusing nature did not go well … Is Alexander Isak’s nowhere.”

Isak has lately been broadly criticized in the media for the antics of him and his agent, and because our owners are already quite reluctant to sell him, the Swede seems to have not affected himself with that Instagram story post just before the PFA Awards earlier in the week.

It was speculated that we should bring in at least two striker options if we wanted to properly replace an outgoing Isak, because no option on the market could fit on the market at the moment with his goals.

We have viewed both Yoane Wissa and Jørgen Strand Larsen in recent weeks, but with how cautiously both Brentford and Wolves sell their respective players, the time is to sign both.

Regardless of Isak, the club still has to replace Callum Wilson and has to bring it to another in order to stimulate one part of the team that looks worryingly weak.

As soon as we play Liverpool on Monday evening, there is less than a week left of the transfer window until it is closed. You would imagine that there would now be an offer of more than £ 150 million for us to be tempted remotely to sell Isak to the Reds before 1 September, together with two strikers that suddenly arrive!
