The American has not tasted success since 2018, but ended waiting for a title to win a one-shot victory in The 2025 Open de France.

It was Kim’s first DP World Tour victory as finished on 16-under par at Saint-Nom-la-Breteche and kept Jeong-Weon Ko and Elvis Smylie off with a single shot.

Kim’s only earlier victory came to the John Deere Classic 2018, two years after participating in the PGA Tour, which he won with eight shots.
