Rasmus Hojlund has admitted that he was no longer wanted by Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford and is ready to negotiate a move to AC Milan.
According to Samuel Luckhurst in the Manchester Evening News This morning the frontman of Manchester United is now ‘Open’ to a summer switch to the San Siro in the middle of growing ‘to trust’ that a deal can be closed between all parties.
This is after Hojlund, on various occasions, has publicly expressed his wish to stay and fight for a start spot in Manchester next season – before the club completed the signing of its direct replacement, Benjamin Sesko.
Rasmus Hojlund may have played his last united game
As a result, Amorim is satisfied with the attacking options at his disposal and believes that there is no reason for Hojlund to get stuck, so that the Deen is left with a handful of red who are all considered excess.
His silly return in the Premier League last season (four goals in 32 performances) means that United will have to take a considerable loss on the £ 64 million that they worked out for him two years ago.
Reports have suggested that Milan would be open to paying an initial loan costs of £ 4 million to sign Hojlund, 22, for the entire 2025/2026, after which they would have the option to make his move permanent for £ 39 million.
However, it is likely that United wants to include a clause for the obligation to buy, unlike an option. Otherwise they run the risk of having a struggle this time next year to struggle to find lovers for their lagging players.
After Hojlund, Ineos have to do work to punish expenses
Ineos will hope that an agreement for the departure of the striker can be packed relatively quickly, in contrast to his exiled teammates Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho, who are all expected to leave before the window closes but will not continue with all interested teams.
From the Wantaway Quartet, Garnacho is most likely to leave after he has set his sights on a move to Stamford Bridge.
