Sheffield United is in conversation with former West Ham United striker Danny ings with a medical set that takes place today, according to Sky Sports reporter Mark Mcadam.
Sheffield United has struggled seriously in the early days of Ruben Selles’ term of office at the club. SUFC has to pick up one point after three league matches and so far only scored one competition goal.
In an attempt to tackle some of the problems that were raised after their bad start of the season, Selles wants to add Danny ings to his attacking options at Bramall Lane.
After he became a free agent after his departure from West Ham United, ings was one of the many free agents who train at the club. In an attempt to add more experience to his struggling side, such as Ben and Nathan Redmond Also participated with the team in the training – but SUFC seemed to have acted first to have added their squad.

Sheffield United moving fast to address poor start to the season
With the heat already starting to rise amongst Sheffield United fans after such a concerning start to the season, it looks set to be a busy end to the transfer window for the Blades.
After adding to their defensive options with the arrival of Nils Zatterstrom from Malmo and Ben Godfrey on loan, Japhet Tanganga is expected to join this week with a £10m move from Millwall close.

There will be immediate pressure on Selles to begin to turn around their fortunes in the Championship. Excuses will be hard to find after seeing a depleted defence shored up by several impressive acquisitions to see their struggles continue.
Danny ings move a risk with fitness battle
There is no doubt that at the Danny ings championship level will still be one of the deadliest finishers in the division. This will be his first season in the second row since the fire from Burnley to promotion in the 2013/14 campaign, and scored 20 goals.
However, if he will be a success at Bramall Lane, the 33-year-old needs a change of fortune with regard to his fitness.
Ings did not succeed in making more than 20 Premier League performances during his three seasons in West Ham United and has not done this since the 2021/22 campaign – his first season in Aston Villa.
He will become a member of Tyrese Campbell, Tom Cannon and Ryan One as Center Forward options for Sheffield United. Because Selles regularly choose to play with a lonely number nine in advance, this can help in managing IGS’s fitness during the campaign – but there will be question marks whether or not he can contribute regularly to SUFC.
