Kieran McKenna expressed his relief after Ipswich Town Sheffield United had beaten for their first victory in the championship this season.
Jaden Philogene scored a hat trick for the tractor boys on Portman Road, while George Hirst and Jack Clarke also came to the score sheet when Ipswich went to the 11th in the table prior to the weekend’s promotion.
It was a dominant display from Ipswich when she records more shots on Target (11) than Sheff United made the total attempts (10), and also collected more expected goals (2.6 xg to 0.42), but they only scored one goal in the first half.
Philogene hit his first after just 20 minutes before Hirst helped his second six minutes in the second half. Hirst then got his own goal just after the hour before Philogene completed his Treble seven minutes later.
Clarke completed the score in the 78th minute when McKenna wants to build at home for their big win at home.
“You want to win that first victory and we have been close a few times. This is a good victory for us,” McKenna told Sky Sports.

“We had the feeling that we were not too far away and some good things were coming and there were many of them.
“We worked very hard with Jaden in the preseason and he also worked very hard. There had been some good signs, but without the end product.
“We know how difficult the season is. It’s good to get the first victory, but it’s a lot of feet on the floor.”
The pressure is now piled up on Ruben Selles and the Blades, who have now started their championship campaign with five consecutive defeats.
Selles is determined to turn their shape because he insisted that he is not worried about his future in the club.
“It is clearly very difficult. We have to accept it and not apologize and try to find a way out of the situation,” he said.
“I think the first half we were on top of the game and they had a few situations.
“The owners have supported me until today. I did not speak to them after the game. I am not worried about that, I am just worried about how we can do things better. I am the first to put pressure on myself.
“I believe in myself. I will always stand for everything that has my name.
“We’re not going to solve anything tonight, but we have to analyze. The good thing about football is that you still have a game in seven days and it’s a different chance.”
