McDonald’s fans, brace yourselves, the most exciting menu change in years is coming to Britain and Ireland.
Starting October 22, the fast food chain will launch a new World Heist menu, featuring items from around the world.
There are burgers from Canada and Australia, McNuggets and drinks from Japan, fries from Poland and much more.
But as always, everything will only be available for a limited time (six weeks), so you’ll have to be quick if you want to experience Maccies like never before.
So what’s on the McDonald’s World Heist menu?
First up we have the Maple BBQ & Bacon Double Quarter Pounder from Canadawhich will cost you €7.69 on its own, or €9.99 as part of a meal.
The burger consists of two Quarter Pounder beef patties, creamy Maple BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese, crispy onions and pickles, all served in a toasted sesame seed bun.

Next up is a treat that might divide those who hate sweet and savory combos: the Pineapple McSpicy from Australia.
The fiery chicken burger, priced at €6.29 on its own and €7.99 per meal, puts a tropical twist on the McSpicy as we know it, with a crispy chicken breast, classic sandwich sauce, a slice of pineapple, bacon, cheese and lettuce in a toasted sesame seed bun.

McNugget fans also have something else to try, like Garlic & Black Pepper McNuggets from Japan are part of the new line-up (£4.99 for 6, £5.99 for 9, £6.99 for a 6 piece meal, £7.79 for a 9 piece meal and £8.29 for a 20 piece share box).
For this, the classic McNugget coating is given a shine with garlic and a hint of black pepper, and then they are served with a garlic and soy mayo dip.
Maccies claims they are ‘crispy and bold’ and provide a ‘flavor bomb in every bite’.

Sour Cream & Black Pepper McShaker Fries from Poland are the next item on the World Heist Menu, allowing you to have a little more ‘fun’ with your fries.
For this, the fries are served in a bag and you add a bag of sour cream and black pepper seasoning before shaking them.
At launch they will cost £2.19 for a medium and £2.99 for large fries.

The last side is Mac & Cheese Triangles from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which costs £2.79 for a portion and £7.09 for a share box.
These see macaroni pasta in a cheddar cheese sauce coated in crunchy breadcrumbs and served with a tomato ketchup dip, and according to McDonald’s it’s the ‘perfect comforting snack’.

To complete your meal, there are two new dessert options: A Choco Caramel Cake from Indonesia (£2.39) and a Chocolate or caramel pretzel McFlurry from Malaysia (£1.89 for a mini, £2.49 for regular).
The cake is described as a ‘gooey, chocolatey dessert’ with ‘melted’ caramel and chocolate ganache inside, while the McFlurry is a ‘sweet and salty masterpiece’ according to Maccies.

It consists of soft ice cream topped with crispy pretzel pieces and a chocolate or caramel sauce of your choice.
Everything can then be washed away with a Sakura x Sprite from Japan (£2.29) in which Sprite Zero is combined with sugar-free Sakura syrup and served over ice to create a ‘crisp, floral and effervescent’ refreshment.

As always, a new menu means that some currently available items will be dropped.
This includes the items that coincide with the return of Monopoly in September, such as the Philly Cheese Stack, Mozzarella Dippers and the Chicken Big Mac.
You have until October 21st to get these before they disappear and the World Heist menu is introduced.

And if you want to be quick with ordering, you’re in luck: McDonald’s recently announced a new feature that will allow customers to jump ahead.
The feature, known as Order Ahead, is being trialled in the McDonald’s app in select locations across the UK.
But if you want to use it, you must agree to have your location tracked.
Order Ahead uses geofencing technology, a location-based technology that creates boundaries on a virtual map. Therefore, you must consent to sharing your location in order to use it.
You place your order and pay via the app before leaving your location – home or office – and then go home to pick up your food.
When your phone reaches the border, an alert is sent to the restaurant so they can prepare your order as you approach and time it just right so it’s ready for your arrival.
According to McDonald’s, your food won’t start cooking until you’re about three minutes away from the restaurant.
