Lot 17 – Catch The Fire x Linniemach (Mach Three) – Colt
A highlight of the consignment is the colt by first-season sire Catch The Fire out of top racing mare Linniemach, winner of the Group 3 Breeders Crown Silver Edition and the Tasmanian Belmont Stakes at the age of two.
This is her fourth foal, and her previous runners have all made it to the track and produced two winners, including Preparation And Over the linewho have already achieved three victories each.
The pedigree has depth and goes back to a strong Australian family with Its Only Rocknroll (75 wins, including 71 in North America) and Soap Opera, winner of the Group 2 NSW Breeders Challenge Blue.
The colt is eligible for Tasbred and Qbred.

Lot 22 is a filly by Ultimate Machete out of Mach Spider, the mother of Yeah buddywinner of the Tasmanian Debutant Stakes. She also comes from the family of Pocket Me, who finished third in an Inter Dominion Grand Final, and Group 1 winner American Me.

First-season sire All Bets Off is represented by Lot 28, a colt out of Mavis Merle, a tough racing mare who won 14 races and earned $109,586.
Bonuses and incentives
All Maxfield yearlings are eligible for Tasbred and can also be entered for the Nutrien Sales Classic. Each yearling in the sale is eligible for a $5,000 first-win bonus as a two-year-old.
In addition, Tasracing will award free entry to the 2027 Nutrien Sales Classic to the best presented colt and filly at the sale.
