Commercial vehicles – including Brezza, Grand Vitara, Ertiga and XL6 – continued to drive overall volumes, rising to 72,498 units, compared to 59,003 units in November last year. The Eeco van also saw higher sales at 13,200 units, while Super Carry LCV shipments rose to 3,622 units.
Exports rose 61% to 46,057 units, marking Maruti Suzuki’s highest ever monthly outbound shipments. The strong performance comes as India’s top automakers reported robust sales in November, helped by GST cuts that lowered prices of SUVs and small cars. Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles each posted growth of 22%, while Hyundai Motor India recorded a rise of 4.3%.
Industry executives say demand has remained resilient even after the holidays. Maruti’s marketing and sales chief Partho Banerjee said the company is struggling to meet demand: “Our production team works on Sundays and holidays to meet market demands.”
During April-November of FY26, Maruti Suzuki’s total domestic and export sales stood at 15.29 lakh units, compared to 14.51 lakh units a year ago.
