Pin Up Pacer Marketplace (Bettor’s pleasure) progresses well and is getting ready to appear on the circuit again.
“He is quite ahead and had a bit of work behind him. We take him on Tuesday to Addington as if we usually do for a bit of a hit with a galloping pacemaker. We will get that in him and he will be ready to try a week or two weeks later,” said Trainer Regan Todd.
He says that the first main objective of Marketplace will be the $ 25,000 Lazarus Stakes in Addington at 26one September.
“He has had a good basis and seems ahead enough, but his coats just don’t quite there. In another months he should be right on songs.”
The speed of $ 500,000 on the show day is also in the radar, but Marketplace did not make a lock at this stage.
“I left that to the owners and we will see what happens there. I know there have been a few behind him, but his first two goals are the Lazarus Stakes and the Flying Stakes fourteen days later.”
The three -year -old gelding has had six starts this season that won four, including the NZB Standardbred Harness Million, the G1 Woodlands Stud Northern Derby and the G1 Garrards Nieuw -Zeeland Sires’ Stakes Final in May.
“He is bigger. You look at him and you think he gets better and strengthen how older he gets, what is pretty good.”
