Marcus Rashford has rediscovered his talent under Hansi Flick at Barcelona after falling out of favor at Manchester United.
The United Academy player secured his dream move to Barca this summer, joining the Blaugrana on a season-long loan deal.
The 28-year-old has proven to be an instant hit in Spain, having been directly involved in 15 goals in 16 games in all competitions. His form at Barcelona has also paved the way for a return to the England squad.
Barcelona are yet to make a final decision on Rashford’s permanent transfer
With Ruben Amorim adamant that Rashford has no place in his project, United also handed Barcelona an option to buy the Englishman at the end of the season, valued at £26 million.
Rashford has impressed Flick with his heroics. However, his future remains uncertain as the La Liga giants’ financial situation could complicate their transfer plans.
It has been widely reported that Barcelona want Rashford to significantly reduce his wage demands. They may also want to renegotiate his transfer fee with United. The Spanish side’s reluctance has opened the door for Chelsea to test the waters.
Chelsea are doing everything they can to sign Rashford
According to TransfersChelsea have made Rashford their “top priority” and are prepared to do whatever it takes to bring him back to the Premier League.
The Blues signed Alejandro Garnacho from United in the summer to strengthen their left flank.
However, the Argentinian has yet to fully convince and can only boast one goal in the Premier League for Enzo Maresca’s side.

The Spanish newspaper claims that Chelsea have “already started discussions” with Rashford’s representatives to persuade him to move to Stamford Bridge.
The London team want the United loanee to spearhead their attack.
Accordingly, they are willing to offer him a lucrative contract that would see him earn significantly more than what Barcelona are willing to offer.
