Manor Solomon will probably not have a future at Tottenham

The career of Tottenham Hotspur from Manor Solomon is more or less over after his deadline day exit.

The Israeli International joined Spurs in the summer of 2023 from Shakhtar Donetsk on a free transfer. While the North London club had the feeling that they had made a top talent on a bargain, the move did not work.

No way back for Manor Solomon

The 26-year-old came to Villarreal for a seasonal loan agreement on Deadline Day. He is ready to return to his parent club next summer, but according to a report from GivemessportSolomon’s Spurs career is already over. It is unlikely that he still has a chance to break into the first team.

Solomon suffered serious injury in his debut campaign for a few weeks. He was forced to sit on the sidelines for the rest of the season and was bent to Leeds United last season.
The Israeli International managed to breathe new life into his career with an impressive loan saying, because he contributed to 22 goals in 39 league games. The 26-year-old played a huge role in their promotion to the top flight.

Although Leeds wanted to sign permanently, it did not go according to plan for them. In the meantime, Thomas Frank decided to give him the opportunity to strengthen his place in their first team. Solomon was part of their team for the season, because the new manager wanted to look at him up close.

He got the chance to impress the boss, but was certainly not successful, that’s why he was sent on loan. Moreover, Spurs has added a lot of quality to their attack this summer. As a result, even if he had stayed, it was unlikely that Solomon would have a lot of playing time.

The North -London club signed Mathys Tel permanently, and they also added Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons to their team. All three can occur on the flank, and they already have Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison, Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert in their ranks.

Given the number of options that Frank has for the broad areas, Solomon may never be allowed to play for Spurs again. In a sense, the late loan movement confirms that his time in Tottenham is over.
