The Charles Town 6-12, a minimum bet of 20 cents with a 12% takeout, pays out the full jackpot on one winning ticket with all six winners, and always covers the last six races of the race card. On nights with multiple winning tickets, 75% of the pool is distributed, while 25% is transferred. But on Wednesday’s card, the mandatory $104,383 jackpot payout will create a value-added opportunity for horse players as the jackpot money is up for grabs.

The Pick 6 starts Wednesday in Race 3. The series is open to horse players, with a six-horse field, three seven-horse fields, an eight-horse field and a nine-horse field to close out the night. There are also only two competing nighttime Thoroughbred signals on Wednesday, so the pool is expected to be one of the largest in the country that day.
