Signs are here.
I went to Mallorca this week to train (at the Jofre Porta Academy) near Palma de Mallorca in Spain. I finished my training on Thursday. Tomorrow I will go to Font de Sa Cala (where the 2023 world championships were held for 65-90 Masters divisions).
The draws are quite large (for example, 40 players in the 70 ladies singles!). It is the last year that Helge Albrecht becomes the tournament director. So far, more than 400 players have been introduced at the age of 65-90 (the 30-60 divisions start just when it ends on October 3).
The weather, after a hot day on Sunday and thunder on Monday was great, fresh mornings, hot (low to mid -70) in the afternoon and cool evenings and sunny.
Apart from tennis and of course visiting a number of local supermarkets (I have already cooked twice for Padron Peppers!) For everything, from peanut butter to peppers to baked almonds, I have not investigated much, but I enjoyed the tennis and the nice weather.
Tomorrow I will drive across the island to Font de Sa Cala, and probably play my first game on Saturday. Stay informed …
Today I made a nice evening walk …
