It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time again for the weekly fuel price update, as announced by the Ministry of Finance, for the coming week from January 29 to February 4, 2026.

The price change for the coming week covers diesel fuels, which will increase by four sen per liter to RM2.92 per liter for the Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends, compared to RM2.88 per liter last week. Accordingly, the Euro 5 B7 blend, which costs 20 sen more per liter, will increase to RM3.12 per liter in the coming week. The retail price of diesel fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

Gasoline prices also remain unchanged this week. As such, the subsidized RON 95 petrol under the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) scheme remains RM1.99 per litre. Malaysians with a valid driver’s license are eligible for the fuel with a monthly quota of 300 litres.

The price of non-subsidized RON95 petrol will remain at the current price of RM2.54 per litre, as will that of RON 97 petrol, which will remain at RM3.10 per litre.

These prices are valid from midnight tonight until Wednesday, February 4, 2026, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the fifth edition of the weekly fuel price format for 2026, and the 368th in total since the format’s introduction in early 2019.
