Bruna Dallo has an impact on ambitious women who are looking for a path to a real career.
“I love the transformation.”
Dallo was born in Brazil but currently calls the US home. Her journey to helping others look better can be traced back to her mother, who operated a beauty salon in her home country. Once Dallo was given the opportunity to pursue her own career, it was clear what she wanted to do when she grew up.
Dallo recalled, “I started studying about it because I knew I wanted to be a professional makeup artist.”
The skill may be art, but Dallo clearly has a gift for teaching. That’s why she passes on what she’s learned to others by teaching makeup classes. Aspiring makeup artists come in and learn how to develop their own talents, just like Dallo. Once they have proven their skills, Dallo presents them with a certificate to confirm that they are now professionals themselves and can apply the craft in a way that benefits others.
“It makes me so proud because when I see them starting their own business, I am so grateful. I know this is what God had planned for me.”
Fall in love with training
Dallo’s faith has led her to devote herself to her physical self as well. She started focusing on training and fitness after going to the gym with a friend. The connection to strength training was immediate, as it helped improve not only her appearance, but also her self-confidence. That confidence carried over to other aspects of her life. She feels it has helped her become a better teacher and leader.
“I can see the changes in my abs and the shape of my arms. Fitness can be great for you because it can also help maximize your beauty. Everything just goes better with fitness.”
As a mother and entrepreneur, Dallo’s priorities are her family and business, but she doesn’t let either of those be an excuse not to push herself and be better. That’s why she gets up early to train. By putting herself first, Dallo feels like she can be better for everyone else she appreciates.
“I make time by getting up at five in the morning,” she explained. “I have to do it because it’s so important to me.”
Dallo’s personal involvement has also led to professional opportunities in that area. She has worked with companies as a sponsored athlete and takes the same approach to that side of her career as she does to her makeup courses. She goes all in because it’s easy for her when you break down what both sectors have in common.
“They both promote beauty and the way you look and improve self-confidence. I feel like having both can make everything better.”
She doesn’t keep fitness to herself either. Dallo also passes on the benefits of exercise and wellness to her makeup clients and students. As a teacher and someone with influence, her focus is not just on developing a skill; it’s about empowering them to have more confidence in themselves, take care of themselves, and try to be better for those they love. Dallo serves as a leader and example for the people under her teaching tree.
“It’s all about the beauty. Inside and out. You should take care of your body the same way you take care of your face and hair.”
Sights on the stage
Dallo does more than train for personal reasons. She plans to take her commitment to the next level by going on stage. She was first introduced to the sport of bodybuilding in 2018 when she worked on makeup for competitors during a show.
“That is an important detail for the participants because if they are confident in how they look, they will show it on stage.”
The passion for improving her body along with her mastery of makeup makes this the obvious next step for her. She is confident that she can present the best version of herself to the judges and fans who will be watching
“I’ve put so much into it over the last two years and I feel like I can do it.”
Dallo immediately helps her students look and feel better about themselves, but she uses her platforms to spread that message to people she can’t connect with in person. A common theme she wants to share going forward is that taking care of your health and well-being will not only help you improve physically, but it will also help you be better to the people you care about. That makes it a responsibility that should be a priority for everyone.
