“XEV 9e and BE 6 have brought a completely new audience to Mahindra. Eight out of 10 buyers had never owned or considered a Mahindra vehicle,” the carmaker announced at its two-day event in Bengaluru, ‘Scream Electric’.
The automotive and agriculture conglomerate unveiled ambitious plans for the future, with the launch of Formula E and the XEV 9S, among other electric vehicle-focused themes.
As Mahindra & Mahindra steps up its EV game, the SUV maker plans to set up 250 EV charging stations, each with 180 kW, by the end of 2027. To support the growing EV market in India, Mahindra’s charging station network will include 1,000 charging points across 250 stations.
