Summary: The assistant tennis coach for men and women is responsible for helping the tennis head coach in offering a competitive Varsity Intercollegiate sports program that competes within the rules of the university, Sunshine State Conference and the NCAA.

Job description:

Essential tasks and responsibilities

• Helps the tennis head coach to plan all activities related to practice and competition.
• Coordinates team travel packages with transport, accommodation, meals, etc.
• Helps with fundraising to benefit the team.
• Actively travels to international and domestic high-quality student athletes.
• Monitors the academic progress of student athletes.
• Supervises operational aspects of the program; Offers direction and support to the graduate assistant coach.
• Communicates with various campus components (recordings, financial help and faculty).
• Occasionally offers planning support for sports camps and clinics.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Required knowledge, skills and skills

• High level of professionalism and ethics.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Possibility to pass on the record check of a driver.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree of an accredited institution.
• Previous collegial coaching experience is preferred.
