South Africa sealed the series 2-0 with an 84-run victory against Australia in the 2nd ODI.
After taking a 1-0 lead in the series, South Africa won the Worp and chose to first hit the second ODI in Mackay.
The innings began, with both openers, rejected early, so that the visitors were put into trouble at 23-2 within six overs.
Tony de Zorzi and Matthew Breetzke got up the innings with a valuable 67-run stand for the third wicket. The Zorzi made 38 before he fell with the score at 90-3, while Breetzke continued to anchor the innings.
Breetzke then registered his fourth consecutive ODI-HALVE century, which again offered the foundation for South Africa. Remarkably, after only four games, he now owns the record for most runs after five ODIs.

Breetzke, together with Tristan Stubbs, pushed the total to 179 before he misled a pull -shot to leave for an excellent 88 out of 78 balls (8 four, 2 sixes).
Dewald Brevis fell shortly thereafter, but the momentum was maintained when South Africa accelerated from 185-5 to 223-5 on the 40 remark. Wian Mulder broke in with a sturdy 26 out of 21 (4 four) before he leaves 233-6.
Stubbs remained the key, but when he lasted 74 (87 balls), South Africa slid to 245-8. From there, Keshav Maharaj added a handy 22 before the innings on 277 all in 49.1 overs locks.
The chase of Australia started a slow start, with only two points of the first two overs. Marco Jansen Burger first hit and fired Travis Head for 6, before Lungi Ngidi found the edge of Marnus Labuschagne to make the hosts falter at 7-2.
Crucial opportunities started to beg when Stubbs Cameron Green dropped at 13 and Mitchell Marsh. However, a change of bowling paid dividends such as Wian Mulder, introduced for the first time in the series, Marsh removed before 18. Australia crawled to 39-3 at the end of the PowerPlay.
The innings recovered some stability, but Cameron Green was caught and bent by Senuran Muthusamy for 35 with the score at 105-4. Alex Carey then cut citizen to Point, departing to 28 when Australia slid in the 28th to 133-5.
Josh Inglis hunted Australia with a smooth 87 out of 74 balls, but Ngidi played the game. First he rejected Aaron Hardie caught and Bowlode for 32 (175-6) and then removed Inglis to go to the keeper on 184-7. Only three balls later he struck again, reducing Australia to 185-8.
Muthusamy grabbed his second, stumbling Nathan Ellis and Australia dropped to 189-9.
Ngidi has packed things with figures from 5-42, skittering Australia before 193. South Africa won with 84 points and sealed the series 2-0.
