Nelly Korda shared an exciting life update last Friday: the 15-time LPGA winner is engaged. She announced the news in an Instagram post captioned, “In this life… and the next,” complete with a ring emoji and photos of Korda with her fiancé, Casey Gunderson.
Shortly after posting the statement on social media, Korda’s comments were flooded with congratulatory messages from some of the biggest names in golf and sports, including Michelle Wie, Lexi Thompson, Justin Rose, Caitlin Clark, LeBron James and many others.
Korda’s sister, six-time LPGA Tour winner Jessica Korda, also chimed in on a playful note: “Sorry guys, she’s off the market.”
The engagement is a memorable way to end Korda’s 2025 season. Although a win eluded her this year, she put together one of the LPGA Tour’s most consistent campaigns, finishing the season without a single missed performance. She achieved nine top-10 finishes, including seven top-5 finishes, highlighted by a strong third-place finish at the CME Group Tour Championship.
While a win eluded her in 2025, Korda noted that the winless campaign reinforced the importance of having a close group of people around you to lean on when things don’t go your way.
“I would say you get a lot more criticism when you’re at the top, and because you’re in a tight circle, you’re very grateful for the people around you,” Korda said. “The circle is getting a little smaller, but I think I have a great circle. I would say I’m extremely lucky for the people I have around me. At the end of the day, the life that we live and achieve for people, it’s super important to have that stability in your life.”
With a remarkable season of steady performance under its belt and a joyful personal milestone to celebrate, Korda ends 2025 on a high note, both on and off the track.
