While Salah was at home for Liverpool’s Champions League away match against Inter Milan, the 33-year-old posted a photo from the AXA Training Center on Monday morning of himself working out alone in the gym.
Salah did not add a caption to the social media post, but there were replies from ex-players, including friend and former teammate Lovren.
The PAOK defender initially noted: “The only way to deal with injustice is to fight with all our strength.”
Instagram user @jayb1996__ then replied to Lovren: “What injustice? Being suspended for three games so the team can work without him so we are ready for when he goes AFCON?
“No justice is needed. Chiesa doesn’t behave like that? He played 142 minutes alone.”
A reasonable argument in the eyes of many supporters. However, Lovren vehemently disagreed, writing: “You have no idea what’s going on behind the doors.
“Stay in your territory with your keyboard and support the wrong side.”
Lovren hints here that Salah’s complaints are more than simply having to sit on the bench for three games, and this would be in line with the Egyptian’s words.
“It seems like the club is throwing me under the bus, that’s how I feel. I think it’s very clear that someone wants me to take all the blame,” Salah said after Liverpool’s draw against Leeds.

“I said before that I had a good relationship with the manager and suddenly we don’t have a relationship anymore. I don’t know why.”
“It seems to me, I would say, that someone doesn’t want me in the club.”
If Salah wants to say this, there must certainly be more to it than missing three games.
Some have suggested that senior club officials are keen to sell him in January, with Slot bearing the burden of pushing him out. However, this is only a conjecture.
When asked Slot who Salah was referring to when he said someone ‘threw him under the bus’, the head coach replied: “The only one who can answer that question is Mo himself.
“So I can guess, but I don’t think it’s the right thing to do at this point. It’s hard for me to say who he means in that situation, to be honest.”
Jordan Henderson also commented on Salah’s photo and left a love heart, while Dominik Szoboszlai, Alisson, Milos Kerkez, Andy Robertson, Harvey Elliott, Jarell Quansah and Tyler Morton all liked the post.
Mo Salah admits Brighton could be Liverpool’s last game

With his relationship with Slot having broken down, Salah suggested Liverpool’s upcoming match against Brighton before heading to AFCON could be his last at Anfield.
“I called my mother yesterday and said, ‘come to the Brighton match’. It doesn’t matter if I play or not, I’m going to enjoy it,” said the Egyptian.
“We’ll see what happens, but in my mind I’m going to enjoy that match whether I play or not, whether I’m on the bench or not.
“I don’t know what will happen now, but it will be at Anfield. Say goodbye to the fans before the African Cup of Nations, because I don’t know what will happen when I get there.”
It would be a very sad way to end a career for one of Liverpool’s greatest ever players.
