The Australian PGA Championship is the first event of the new DP World Tour season 2025/26 and is performed at the Royal Queensland Golf Club in Brisbane, Australiafor the fifth year in a row.

The prestigious tournament dates back to 1929 as a match play event and remained so until 1964, when it was played as a stroke play competition.

It was part of the 2009 and 2014 ANZ and One Asia Tours and was elevated to European Tour status in 2015. It was previously held in January but was moved to November in 2022 in a calendar change.

Elvis Smylie is the reigning champion after winning the last edition in 2024 and is among the top betting contenders in 2025.
