Liverpool -midfielder Harvey Elliott is connected to a relocation of the club this summer.
The 22-year-old has not been a regular starter for the Premier League champions and he has to continue looking for regular playing time.
Liverpool not enthusiastic about Elliott transmission
According to Paul Gorst from Liverpool EchoRB Leipzig is interested in signing the player as a potential replacement for Xavi Simons. Nederlands International has become a member of Tottenham Hotspur and the German club wants Elliott to replace him.
However, Liverpool is not willing to let the player continue. They need more quality and depth in the team, and they have decided to hold the 22-year-old. He is a versatile player who is able to swing in several attacking roles.
It will be interesting to see if the midfielder is willing to continue in Liverpool. There is no doubt that he should play more often in this phase of his career. He is a talented young player with a bright future. It is unlikely that he is sitting on the couch in Liverpool. He may also not get a regular Gametime with the Premier League champions. They have sufficient quality and depth in the team, and they will only be able to offer him the role of a team player.
It is still to be seen how the situation develops.
Elliott needs a new start

A move to Germany could have been ideal for him. Leipzig did well to take care of young players over the years, and they could help him fulfill his enormous potential. The 22-year-old has to concentrate on his development for the time being. He will have many opportunities in the future to play for elite clubs if he manages to fulfill his potential.
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool changes their attitude before the transfer window closes.
