Liv Golf has officially announced that New Orleans participated for the first time in the Tour and the inaugural Liv Golf Louisiana event from 26-28 June 2026.
The newest addition to The LIV golf calendar 2026 Will take place at the South Course in New Orleans City Park Bayou Oaks.
It marks the first time Louisiana Welcome the Global Golf League and becomes a central summer event in the middle of the 14-person tournament season.
The event is supported by a deal of Louisiana legislators, with $ 5 million in direct hosting costs to LIV Golf and $ 2.2 million dedicated to course improvements.
The Bayou Oaks South Course will undergo renovations under the leadership of Golf Legend and former Liv CEO Greg Norman, including extended holes, refined bunkers and extensive spectators.
The three -day event is expected to generate $ 40 million in economic activity for the region and support more than 1,150 jobs.
The stop of New Orleans marks the 10th confirmed event in LIV’s 14-Tournament Global Schedule for 2026, which also contains another new event with the debut of Liv Golf South Africa.

“The planned improvements in the course will not only help us to perform professional tournaments at the highest level, but will also improve the fan experience.”
