The top two paddlers of China exchanged stains in the latest world ranking, with Wang Chuqin claiming number 1 for Lin Shidong. Shidong could regain the top position as soon as October 7, because both players will compete with the China Smash and with only 50 points that separate them, the player who is faring out will leave the event on top of the ranking list.
Hugo Calderano is now in third place, also only 50 points for his best competitor (World No. 4 Tomokazu Harimoto. Europe’s top player, Truls Moregard, is in the fifth. Slots to no. 21 – Both based on their semi -final runs this weekend.
Unlike the men, the rankings of the women remained almost the same without changes in the top 10. China has the top five places (Yingsha, Veelu, Xingtong, Kuai, Yidi), than Harimoto, Yuling, ITO, Chen Yi and Odo for the top 10.
