Kyle Sandilands has put his weekend villa on the outskirts of Sydney up for sale.
The radio star paid $3 million for the sprawling property in Sydney’s northwest Hills District in August 2022, with the intention of building a Hamptons-style family home.
It is now being marketed by Carolyn Wheatley, director of Belle Property Dural. which accompanies $5.7 million to $5.9 million.

Shock jock Kyle Sandilands’ Glenorie home is for sale.
Sandilands settled on the 9,580 square meter acreage in Glenorie, which borders bushland, just weeks before his then fiancée, now wife Tegan Kynaston, gave birth to the couple’s first child, Otto.
The house has changed considerably since it was last up for grabs as ‘property’ [that] you really have to see it to believe it.”
In February last year, Sandilands revealed he had started renovating the property.
The launch was announced by Vaucluse-based Sandilands when a listener called to say she had seen it at local award-winning Glenorie Bakery.

“It’s a beautiful house and Kyle and Tegan have worked tirelessly on a beautiful renovation,” said Wheatley.
“They have combined the traditional Georgian character of the house with a contemporary upgrade, which is in keeping with the line of the house.”

The house was introduced to the market with a launch expo on Thursday evening and Wheatley said she expected there would be strong interest in the house, which appeals to families, especially those interested in multi-generational living.
She said Sandilands sold the house because he wanted to be closer to the city.
That means he may be in the market for another weekender or looking to upgrade the $14 million Vaucluse home he bought in 2023.

“Originally purchased in March 2022, the home has since undergone an extensive transformation combining timeless architectural character with contemporary finishes and functionality for modern family living,” the home’s marketing reads.

“The residence is designed for long-term or multi-generational living and features over six bedrooms, five bathrooms and multiple formal and informal living areas with high ceilings.
