Rozentals made up his own Onlyfans account in January 2025 to finance his training program and he places videos and photos on his Instagram account to drive viewers to the content.
Every athlete on the Paddle UK’s program receives an annual £ 16,000 subsidy to support their training.
But Rozentals says that the financing of the program is not nearly enough.
“I don’t know how much you need, but it’s certainly not £ 16,000,” said Rozentals.
“If you rent, travel, eat, eat … and most athletes who train full -time, all live in London.
“They are very happy that they have the elder-I was not. I never had the opportunity to move to London because of financial struggles, so I always did the journey from the East Midlands, where I live, back and forth, back and forth.”
Rozentals, who won individual C1 silver at the World Under-23 Championships in 2023, is waiting for the outcome of the investigation.
Paddluk says that the prohibition of Rozentals is not a disciplinary action, but an “interim promotion” and a “neutral act designed to protect all parties” and “other athletes, staff and volunteers to protect because of the nature of the statement”.
“The investigation has been referred to the integrity of the independent investigative services,” said the administrative body.
It added: “Paddle UK strives to guarantee a safe and open environment for everyone, and interim action under the disciplinary policy of the athlete is only taken where necessary and proportionate.”
Paddle UK’s athlete disciplinary policy contains “offensive use of social media” and “indecent, offensive or immoral behavior” as examples of coarse misconduct that can lead to de-selection.
Asked if he will stop posting on fans to keep his place on the program, Rozentals says that he does not have to choose between financial security and his Olympic dream.
“This is the most difficult decision I have ever had to deal with in my life,” said Rozentals.
“I realized why I started doing this last winter after years of struggle, years of living on the outskirts, my mother worked 90 hours a week, with bailiffs at the door.
“I’m going to find a way that we don’t have to struggle, where my mother can enjoy her life and I am able to put everything in this sport, because if you think about how you can pay the rent this month and you are at the starting line, that is not very conducive [to performing well].
“It is a difficult decision, but unless something changes in the way athletes are paid, I see no way to work with Paddle UK”.
