The sister of Kim Jong Un says that Noord -Korea is not interested in any policy or proposals for reconciliation from South Korea, the hope of defrosting relationships between the two countries.
There had been a growing optimism that Pyongyang could respond positively to peace enlargement by the recently elected liberal President Lee Jae-Myung in South Korea.
The decision of Seoul to suspend speakers that broadcast anti-Noordean propaganda and to ban balloons to drop leaflets was followed by Pyongyang’s decision to stop his speaker broadcasts.
But Kim Yo Jong, a senior official of the reigning party of North Korea who is supposed to speak for her leader, said that Mr. Lee’s dedication to the South Korea-us security alliance demonstrated that he was no different than his hostile predecessor.
“If South Korea expects to reverse all the consequences of (his actions) with a few sentimental words, there could be no greater miscalculation than that,” said Mrs. Kim in comments reported by the state media.

Mrs. Kim, the North Korean officer, called the suspension of activist activities, only a reversal of poorly informed activities South Korea should never have started.
“In other words, it’s not even something that is worth our assessment,” she said.
“We again make it clear to the official position that every policy is made in Seoul or proposal, we are not interested and we will not sit with South Korea and there is nothing to discuss.“
Mr. Lee found performance on 4 June after winning a snap election after removing hardline conservative Yoon Suk Yeol.
He sworn to improve the ties with Pyongyang that had reached their worst level in years.
After the KCNA remarks on Monday, Mr. Lee said it was important to restore the trust between the neighbors.
The Unification Ministry of Zuid -Korea, in charge of dealing with ties between the two countries, said that Kim Yo Jong’s comments “Show the wall of distrust between the south and the north is very high as a result of hostile and confrontational policy in recent years”.
South Korea will keep the efforts for reconciliation and cooperation, spokesperson Koo Byoung-Sam told the ministry a briefing.
The new minister of unification, Chung Dong-Young, said he was planning to advise Mr Lee to adjust joint military exercises to the United States, Yonhap reported. The exercises were criticized by Pyongyang.
Yet Mr. Lee, whose government is involved in heavy negotiations with Washington to prevent punishing rates threatened by US President Donald Trump, called the American Alliance the pillar of the diplomacy of South Korea.
Seoul would make efforts in all areas to “strengthen the South Korea-VS alliance that was sealed in blood,” said Mr. Lee on the birthday of the Korean war reinforcement on Sunday.
Noord -Korea focuses on Russian tires
Moon Seong-Mook, an analyst for Seoul-based Korea Research Institute for National Strategy, said that Kim Yo Young’s statement shows that North Korea is able to leave South Korea to leave the American Alliance.
Mr. Moon said that Mrs. Kim probably does not see much of dealing with South Korea, because it cannot restart the economic projects that previously improved in North Korea, as long as the international sanctions continue to exist.
Noord -Korea built cooperation with Russia, sent troops and conventional weapons to support his war in Ukraine and probably received economic and economic aid in exchange.
Since he started his second term in January, Trump has repeatedly talked about his personal ties with Kim Jong Un and expressed the intention to resume diplomacy with him. But Noord -Korea did not respond publicly to the Overture of Trump.
Leif-Eric Easley, professor of international studies at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, said that Kim Yo Jong’s statement had a domestic audience.
“The comments of Kim Yo Jong are an attempt to promote national pride by portraying North Korea in a superior position, despite the economic struggle and the international paria status,” said Mr Easley.
“She also tries to justify Pyongyang’s arms programs and distribute Seoul and Washington by criticizing upcoming military exercises.”
