Khamzat Chimaev has a particular focus when it comes to his next desired opponent. The reigning UFC middleweight champion continued his continued callout to light heavyweight kingpin Alex Pereira in a series of social media posts. While the goal is nothing new, this time Chimaev has a date and location in mind for the match.
“Let’s go to the White House,” Chimaev wrote on X. “Don’t worry, I’ll kill you soon [Pereira].”

The UFC White House event is expected to take place on June 14, although the date has yet to be officially confirmed. Pereira had previously expressed interest in a clash against former heavyweight champion Jon Jones, but the Brazilian indicated in a recent post that his participation in the event was a ‘no go’.
Pereira is 6-1 since moving up to light heavyweight and is coming off a first-round stoppage of Magomed Ankalaev to regain the 205-pound title at UFC 320 last October.
One-Track Spirit
Chimaev captured the middleweight title at UFC 319 last August with a dominant five-round statement over Dricus Du Plessis. He has publicly called out Pereira more than once in recent months. However, aside from being offered to face “Borz” in a charity wrestling match, the Brazilian star didn’t seem interested in the match.“All Brazilian fans tell this boy that if you are not afraid, he should fight,” Chimaev added.
