Keep these potential call-ups in mind during play-offs of Fantasiehonkball

September is always an exciting baseball month.

Major League schedules are extensive, so that fans of the game catch a glimpse of what the future of their favorite team will look like, and the fantasy managers get a new harvest from players to supplement an exhausted distance thread.

Most of the most important new faces around MLB have been picked up in your competition, but the beauty of the Minor League system of baseball is the depth and there are still a few prospects to check.

A call-up can now mean three weeks of increased production for your team, and in this economy that is great.

The cardinals fell from the Playoff race.

They are actually ready for this year, and the number 1 prospect in their system, Shortstop JJ Wetherholt should be for a big league experience.

Finally, he cuts .312/.424/.523 with 16 home runs, 21 stolen bases and a 66:65 K: BB more than 99 games between Double-A Springfield and Triple-A Memphis.

Technically, the Weatherholt team does not have to promote.

It does not have to be on the 40-man grid to generally be protected this low season.

With President of Baseball Ops John Mozeliak who announces that this will be his last season, the new regime can decide that the 22-year-old can benefit from a few weeks in the Majors, especially with the possibility of sliding to third base.

Mozeliak and manager Ollie Marmol have not handled their prospects well in recent seasons, so maybe a new mandate is in order – especially with injuries to Brendan Donovan and Nolan Arenado, not to mention Thomas Saggese.

A bit of a long shot, but worth your attention.

Also keep an eye on Engelen Outfielder Nelson Rada.

The halos do not come close to the play -offs, Bryce Teodosio and Matthew Lugo look terrible, both on the plate and veteran Taylor Ward can probably use some free time.

Rada cuts .333/.440/.429 with a .869 Ops, two Doubles, a triple, four RBI and seven steals about his last 10 games at Triple-A Salt Lake and can be a large under-the-radar assets for stolen bases.

Keep in mind that it is not that popular for a power hitter.

The Pacific Coast League is notorious Hitter-friendly and the power will not translate from Salt Lake to Los Angeles.

Bet on the NFL?

However, the advanced plate discipline and the elite speed will certainly do that.

Check what the angels choose to do these last few weeks and keep Rada at the top of your watch list.

The mining of the small competitions and the subsequent call-ups are currently necessary. Many teams prepare to look ahead, and this is the perfect opportunity for them to get a good look. Not every call-up will strike, but with less than a month to go in your fantasy season, everything is worth trying.
