Wilkes-Barre, Pa.-Vanessa Karlewicz Uncorked a Lights-out Harness Racing Performance to Win One of Two $ 10,000 Divisions of the American Harness Drivers Club (AHDC) Proto over the Weekend at Pocono Downs, While about 200 Miles Due Firhwest in Lestatter-Hallate-Hallate-Hallat One of Two $ 7,500 amateur Driving Events at Batavia Downs presented in Joint Partnership by the AHDC and the North American Amateur Drivers Association.
Karlewicz started a busy afternoon on Saturday (October 4) for the amateur drivers with a 14-3/4-length eruption by Snowman Hanover in the first AHDC trot at Pocono Downs. Departure from post 5, Karlewicz, Snowman Hanover put on to a: 26.4 first quarter while parking after 8 leaver all rise (driven by Tony Beltrami) and maintaining a steady pace to a: 55.4 half. Snowman Hanover began to separate from the competition and opened a four-length lead by three-quarters in 1: 24.1 and continued to pull the piece away to put the clock in 1: 53.4. Pocket-Sitter Keystone Thunder (Matt Zuccarello) came in second with Champa Bay Hall (Dante Scattolini) survived a broad journey for the third and IMA Standup Guy (Joe Faraldo), the even money favorite, gave a first offer in the fourth.
Snowman Hanover Repeat
Richard Aiken trains Snowman Hanover, a 5-year-old gelding through BarhoppingFor owner Arden Homestead Stable. He paid $ 8.20 to win.
Tony Beltrami went on the road in the other AHDC division with 4-5 chalk Roger-Runlin in a 1: 55.2 miles. Beltrami walked along youmeandwhiskey (Geovany Hernandez) after a: 28.1 first quarter and remained strong by the rest. Beyond A: 57.4 half, Roger Rabbit easily refuted a first push from Big Nudge (Anthony Verruso) and wore the field to three-quarters in 1: 26.2 before the victory was sealed with 1-3/4 lengths. Later that evening, Candace Brandstatter-Hall opened the amateur driving action that took place in Batavia Downs with a mild 8-1 upset by Reggiano in a 1: 57.1 miles. She stalked a steadily pace of: 28.1 and: 58.2 cut by Shoreview (Charles Longo) before she lifted in action and seized the command on three -quarters in 1: 27.1. Reggiano then kept a late bid from rumors (Robert Ciavardini) to hold a main victory, while Shoreview decided for the third and Merito Hanover (Joe Faraldo) in fourth place.

Marc Shuttleworth has and trains Reggiano, a 13-year-old gelding through Western terror. Brandstatter-Hall, productive as a trainer, scored her first ‘P’-Licensebinnet with the gelding and the second driving win of her career-her first turnout in winning on an OHIO Fair in 2024. The gelding paid $ 19.06 to win.
George Ketros supplied 6-5 Favorite Tymal Envoy to a win of 1: 56.1 in the other amateur riding department in Batavia Downs. Ketros protected position of the pylon pole and moisture moisted first-up Memphistennessee n (Matt Zuccarello) by fractions from: 28 ,: 57 and 1:27.
