Los Angeles Chargers Quarterback Justin Herbert Test opens tinted contact lenses as a training camp.
He wore them under sunny skies on Thursday after trying them out earlier in the week while working with the team’s rookies.
“They are like sunglasses,” he said. “They really helped. I hardly had to squeeze that much. ‘
Herbert tried to wear a tinted visor a few years ago and did not like to clean it constantly.

Chargers Kicker Cameron Dicker told ‘The herd with Colin Cowherd’ that he and Herbert recently wore the red contacts for dinner.

Herbert said he thinks he could bear the contacts in games with a medical recipe because of sensitive eyes.
“If I can see the field better because of this, it will certainly help,” he said.
It comes after chargers wide recipient Mike Williams On Thursday at the age of 30 retired from the NFL.
His agent, Tory Dandy, told General Manager Joe Ortiz on Wednesday evening, hours before the Chargers became the first NFL team that opened a training camp.
