Ten years ago, Melissa lived in a slum in Kolkata, India, and helped to escape more than 200 women by offering alternative work at a social company.There she discovered her passion for financial education as a means to enable people to go out of poverty. After graduating at UCLA with a masters, Melissa worked for 5 years as a social worker; Helping clients with homelessness, in prison or in a psychiatric facility. No matter how much she loved work, the stealing of saving for retirement on the lean salary of a social worker grimly became. Then Melissa discovered ‘passive income’. In no time she fell in love with real estate as a vehicle for wealth. Shortly thereafter Melissa off-market multi-family property began to find to buy through creative financing strategies and win-win opportunities. Two years after investment, Melissa took her daily job as a social worker to become a full -time broker and investor. Initially she was attracted to people in difficult circumstances, so she developed extensive experience in helping families who have to do with shielding, short sale and Probate. Melissa is good at home in helping its customers to overcome complex real estate challenges. Melissa is currently working with Super Broker, Yascha Noonberg in Realty Living Room. Together they help customers to realize their real estate dreams, including how they can strategically buy and sell a personal stay to maximize profit. Far from the slums of Kolkata, her greatest passion is now able to enable other working professionals to develop passive forms of income by buying multi -family homes in Portland.
