In accordance with the general switch to a cashless, digital service environment, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) has officially launched Cashless payment options for its services, so that e-Wallets can be used as a payment resources for transactions at all JPJ counters nationwide with Touch ‘n GO, Mae or Mae or Mae or BOST.

In the meantime, the Department said before 2025 that from 24 August 46.5 million non-continued transaction was registered, collected with RM5.6 billion. Transactions via e-Wallets at Tellers and the MyJPJ application have increased to 245,626, with a total collection of RM19.6 million.

The Department is of the opinion that this implementation will continue to increase the number of transactions without cash with all counters.
