On Friday Dallas Cowboys Star Micah Parsons rocked the NFL world to ask for a trade.
On Saturday, Dallas owner Jerry Jones gave the opportunity to respond and he benefited from the moment.
Speaking with the media in the Cowboys training camp, Jones made it clear that although he does not want Dallas -fans to “lose sleep” about the contract situation, and that he does not want to exchange parsons, there is also the simple fact that “life goes on.”
“I wouldn’t be here with you if I didn’t think we might have a great future with Micah. We are in good condition,” said Jones, as quoted by Jon Machota van Athletics. “This is negotiation. But make no mistake, life must continue if something happens to me or someone else. Life continues.”
Jones also indicated that he believes that this is just part of the “negotiation” process:
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says he is not bothered by Micah Parsons’ trade request. He regards it as the same as contract negotiations with other top players. “We are in good shape. This is negotiation.”
His message to Cowboys fans?

“I think the world of Micah. That’s just the part of the negotiation. I don’t really place that with a seriousness.”
Parsons asked for a trade on Friday and noted in a statement on social media that the team today had no conversation with my agent about a contract: “
Jones then pushed back when he addressed the media on Saturday and stated that the offer that the team gave back in the spring was taken from the table by the Pass Rusher itself:
Is the contract offer from Back in March to Micah Parsons still on the table?
Jerry Jones: “Micah turned it out.”

As for whether the relationship between Jones and Parsons is’ edable ‘, Jones said:’ I think the relationship is what it is.
“I love Micah.”
As we noticed yesterday, it was leaking that Parsons considered ‘drastic measures’, this could really all be part of the song-and-dance between player and team. Jones seems to believe that himself, thinking that a deal will be closed.
There is also a more cynical picture of some, including one of the best Sportswriters on the planet who is working on a book about Jones, that this is also part of what the owner enjoys in the summer:
Jerry Jones does not mind paying a few extra million in a mega contract if he and the cowboys can generate $ 100+ million in free publicity by dominating the NFL conversation in July and August.
This is Jerry’s pre-season Soap-Playbook. Rinse, repeat.

Yes, even if the attention he receives is negative.
If nothing else, it gives us something to talk about until the games really begin.
